From the Manufacturer

In 1980, Alfonso Brescia directed a weird sci-fi film starring Shirpa Lane, Venantino Venantini and the mythical Zork, a robot that's missing some gears that administer a planet full of Antalium (precious stuff, indeed) in a singular way. This is the plot upon which Marcello Giombini is called to compose a score, and considering the story, his strong experience in the field of experimental electronic music will prove to be the winning choice that will provide the movie with an enjoyable soundtrack.

We see on the screen grotesque scenes that lie somewhere between sublime and horrid, and in the background, a score that reflects space-retro atmospheres that permeate the movie with occasional dynamic accelerations (particularly when the scene gets a bit… hot!). It's a minor masterpiece of electronic experimentation that reminds us of German sonorities such as Kraftwerk and the sci-fi scores of Peter Thomas.

Ideal background music for a galactic lounge of the future, perhaps in that comfortable Alpha Centauri satellite with warm climate or on a Saturn astral base with a good view of the rings. The good news is that you don't have to wait for the future to arrive—you can listen to this music today—so what are you waiting for?

The CD is released in a jewel case with a 12-page booklet, with mastering by Claudio Fuiano, liner notes by Fabio Babini and graphic layout by Daniele De Gemini.
