World beats specialists, Zohar trek to the U.S. in July for a limited club tour, bringing their brand of Middle Eastern-inspired jazzy electronica to the masses. The tour is in support of the band\'s second release Do You Have Any Faith? out now on CIA Records. The album is a crosspollination of global sounds and instruments, layering traditional Middle Eastern folk melodies and American jazz over atmospheric trance beats and dub grooves. With international guest vocalists like Tunisian Paris-based singer Amina and the incomparable Kawali singer Riffat Sallamat, Zohar\'s music is an entirely fresh and modern experience hailed as, "enchanting—an eclectic musical mix" by Billboard magazine.

Led by Erran Baron Cohen (composer of the "Borat" film score), Zohar\'s peerless sound in the musical landscape is what prompted their lead off performance in the Los Angeles Skirball Cultural Center\'s Sunset Concert Series, spotlighting distinctive voices in world music. The Skirball\'s concert series commences on Thursday, July 19. More dates are listed below.

The quartet\'s live show is a spiritual experience, celebrating the richness of soul music - that is soul music as uniquely expressed by distant cultures from around the world. Zohar\'s live set will draw upon the ethno-music of "Do You Have Any Faith?" and their previous effort "One.Three.Seven", which layered Jewish Cantors, Arab Muezzins and Byzantine chants samples over electronic beats.
