The hearts and minds of oboist Tom Boyd and pianist Marcelo Cesena join forces for an evening of exquisite cinematic music. Well-known movie themes, original compositions from other major motion picture composers and a flavor of Latino music will be highlighted with the unique pairing of oboe, cello and piano. Scores to be featured include modern classics such as Alan Silvestri's FORREST GUMP and CAST AWAY, Jerry Goldsmith's RUDY and STAR TREK: INSURRECTION, Alan Menken's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, and others. Additionally, several new scores will be premiered, including Austin Wintory's CAPTAIN ABU RAED, and Sharon Farber's WHEN NIETZSCHE WEPT.
