A featurette has been released with composer Alexandre Desplat discussing his score for Argo (see embeded video below). He discusses his creative process and working closely with director and actor Ben Affleck.
Also featured is a behind-the-scenes look at the scoring session, including interviews about the important use of many Middle Eastern instruments as well as vocal performed by renowned vocalist Sussan Deyhim.
Argo, directed by Ben Affleck and now playing in theaters, has received a Golden Satellite Award and Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominations for Best Score. (Academy Award nominations will be announced next week.)
