Opening nationwide this week are (with music by): Exodus: Gods and Kings (Alberto Iglesias) and Top Five (Ludwig Goransson and Ahmir Questlove Thompson). The Pyramid (with music by Nima Fakhrara) is expanding nationwide from its limited release.

Finally, the following composers will be celebrating an upcoming birthday:

- Wednesday: Craig Safan (The Last Starfighter) will turn 66.
