Lakeshore Records will release the I.T. - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally on Amazon Disc-on-Demand on September 23, 2016. The album was produced by Tyler Bates and features original music by Tim Williams.
"John Moore (the director), Tyler Bates (the executive music producer), and I discussed the tone for the film at length," Williams stated. "It was very clear that, while the film involved technology, it was at its heart a struggle between two people who both believe they are right." Moore put it best, "Williams' music perfectly illuminates that tension. It contains the paradoxes and propaganda of contrarian views. It tosses and turns the listener, demanding a complexity of understanding rare amongst motion picture soundtracks, which are usually lazily happy to simply underscore a narrative."
I.T. will be in theaters September 23, 2016.
