Soundtrack.Net was founded in February 1997 by David A. Koran and Dan Goldwasser. They grew the site over the years (then known as "SoundtrackNet"), including absorbing Filmmusic.com (which was founded in mid-1996).
In October 2011, the site was acquired by former Box Office Mojo co-owner and Managing Partner, Sean Saulsbury, through his company Autotelics, LLC. Sean currently serves as Soundtrack.Net's publisher.
Today, Soundtrack.Net is the authoritative source for news and information about composers, movies and television soundtracks, albums, and original scores.
Sean Saulsbury is an entrepreneur, technology geek, and movie-lover. He was co-owner and Managing Partner of Box Office Mojo and sold it to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb.com) in July, 2008. Sean's personal blog can be read at www.seancast.com and he can be followed on Twitter @seanjs.
