Relativity Music Group has released the music from the original motion picture soundtrack to DreamWorks Animation's upcoming comedy adventure The Croods on March 19, 2013.
The soundtrack includes the original song "Shine Your Way" featuring Republic Records' multi-platinum recording artist Owl City and Verve Records' artist Yuna. The song was produced by Owl City alongside two-time Academy Award nominated composer Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard who wrote the track with the film's directors, Kirk DeMicco and Chris Sanders.
Silvestri produced and composed the entire score, which includes "Smash and Grab," and a sample of "Tusk" performed with the USC Trojan Marching Band. The Croods - Music from the Motion Picture is now available on iTunes.
The soundtrack for The Croods was executive produced by Relativity Music Group's Jason Markey, Bob Bowen, and Ryan Kavanaugh.
