A superhero is not a superhero without tights and a cape... or a rousing theme song! The Golden State Pops Orchestra brings these iconic melodies to life in Superhero Soundtracks! This exhilarating adventure through the soundtracks of favorite heroes includes a special segment of the concert dedicated to the recent Marvel blockbusters Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and The Avengers. Other music to be performed includes themes from Superman, The Dark Knight, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men and music from the new Marvel television show, Agent Carter.
Special guests with the Golden State Pops Orchestra and Choir will be Craig Safan (The Last Starfighter), Christopher Lennertz(Agent Carter), and Jason Livesay (X-Men: Days of Future Past). There will also be some surprise guests.
