On Saturday, February 11, 2006, six film composers came together for a very special event: to greet their fans! Sponsored by La-La Land Records, "Maestros of Horror" was a chance for film score and horror fans to come meet six composers who have each contributed their unique voices to the genre. On hand were (from left to right) Typer Bates, Nathan Barr, John Harrison, Christopher Young, Brian Tyler, and Chris Lennertz.

The event, which lasted over 2.5 hours, was a smashing success, with many people lined up to talk to the composers, and get their favorite albums signed. There were a few special goodies on hand too, including posters, hard-to-find promo CDs, and even Xbox computer games all being given away to the fans.

La-La Land Records put together a smashing event, and we can only hope that they have more events like these in the near future, allowing the fans an opportunity to meet their favorite composers.
