In collaboration with M6 Film and Cristal Groupe, Music Box Records is pleased to present on CD the original motion picture soundtrack of the French-Belgian animated feature film Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion (2019) composed, orchestrated and conducted by acclaimed composer Philippe Rombi.

After Asterix: The Mansions of the Gods in 2014, French composer Philippe Rombi reunites for the second time with the dynamic duo screenwriter Alexandre Astier and director Louis Clichy, on Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, based on the comic book of René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.

A fall during the picking of mistletoe led Druid Panoramix to make a decision: he will travel through Gaul with Asterix, Obelix and Pectin in search of a young talented druid to guarantee the future of the village and to transmit the secret of the magic potion.

Philippe Rombi provides an exhilarating and thematic orchestral score, offering a wide array of outdoor adventure and wondrous themes. The lively score is performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and conducted by the composer himself. The package includes a 12-page full-color booklet with Philippe Rombi's statement and many pictures of recording sessions.
