From the Manufacturer

A ''via cruces'' that lasted over 2 years finally comes to a happy ending, allowing us to present one of the most wanted scores for our DDJ series (dedicated to lounge and disco music composed for rare or unknown movies of the '70s and the '80s).

It's the nth great contribution of a Maestro very dear to our label, Gianni Marchetti, composed for the movie Cicciolina amore mio which features the cult porno actress Ilona Staller in the leading role.

The score is simply irresistible, with great disco sonorities in the late '70s style that remind us of Bee Gees and Azoto. At the time speaking, a promotional 12'' vinyl for DJs was released featuring the cue ''I Was Made for Dancing'' in an extended-play version (also present in our CD), a typical edit with a long instrumental intro—in this case performed with tribal percussion—that allowed DJs to synchronize the preceding cue with the forthcoming one without overlapping vocal parts.

What more can we say? This is surely one of the most exciting releases in our series. You will listen to it, once, twice, thrice...

Great stereo master edited by Claudio Fuiano, 12-page booklet designed by Daniele De Gemini and Alessio Iannuzzi with liner notes by Fabio Babini.
