Super Furball Saves the Future

[December 9, 2022]: MovieScore Media recently released the soundtrack for the Family Film/Adventure Super Furball Saves the Future, which features an original score from Panu Aaltio.

Aaltio's score is a thematic, soaring adventure score played by the 97-player Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, for a film about an unusual superhero who tries to save the world by saving the bees. The score features a wide range of emotions, from majestic superhero themes to plenty of action and quirky humor, but also moments of heartfelt human emotion. Highlight tracks include the self-titled last track of the album, which contains the grand finale of the film, as well as track 28 "Time Machine" with its epic time travel motif. Track 10 "The Bee World'' also memorably takes the audience inside our tiny insect friends' plot to crash a birthday party. Earlier this autumn, the film had a theatrical release in Finland under the original Finnish title of the film, Supermarsu 2.

"When I heard the final cue of the album played by the 97-player Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, I got very emotional, which is really rare for me with my own music," shares Aaltio. "It has been a dream come true to score a film with such thematic, soaring adventure music, and to have it performed majestically by a stellar symphony orchestra. Here it seems all the pieces fell together. The talent and dedication by everyone who worked on this score really made it feel like a piece of Hollywood film music magic made its way across the Atlantic."
