Toronto – October 10th, 2008 – Cherry Beach Sound was proud to host a fully orchestrated jazz ensemble session with some of the most recognized musicians, composers, and arrangers known throughout the world. These endowed individuals were brought together by writer/composer Gino Salvadore and world renowned conductors/arrangers Rick Wilkins and Charles T. Cozens to record several pieces of music, all within the same facility.

The session incorporated a full string section, several of these musicians included: Rob Piltch, established guitarist; Bruce Harvey, one of Canada\'s most highly regarded pianist; Scott Alexander, internationally-known bassist; Vern Dorge, accomplished jazz saxophonist; Terry Clarke and Steve Heathcote, the nation\'s leading percussionists; Joseph Macerollo consummate accordionist, who performed a noteworthy solo for the jazz session. The music not only featured a classical jazz style, it also attributed a romantic, Brazilian flavor with blends of both traditional and modern influences.

\"It is very rare to have a group of such reputable musicians together in one place, at one time,\" said Carman Guerrieri, President of Cherry Beach Sound Ltd. \"It is a privilege for all those that were here to listen.\"

Rick Wilkins is recognized among Canada\'s greatest saxophonists and one of the world\'s most accomplished arrangers and conductors.
