Composer to Composer Seminar
with
ENNIO MORRICONE
This exciting seminar begins with a full-length screening of the composer's latest film MALENA, made available by Miramax Films. MALENA's score, nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Score, marks the re-teaming of Morricone with director Giuseppe Tornatore. Morricone previously scored the director's Oscar-winning CINEMA PARADISO, and composed the jazz score for the recent film THE LEGEND OF 1900.
Following the screening, Daily Variety Film-Music writer Jon Burlingame will conduct a rare interview and discussion with Morricone, who has scored nearly 400 motion pictures and has been nominated for four Academy Awards (BUGSY, THE UNTOUCHABLES, THE MISSION, CINEMA PARADISO).
Join us for a fascinating evening with this legendary film composer!
