G. Marq Roswell is one of the most diverse and sought after music supervisors working today. His impressive list of credits include PAY IT FORWARD, BRING IT ON, END OF DAYS, THE HURRICANE, VARSITY BLUES, and THE COMMITMENTS. Roswell has worked with such artists as hard rockers Limp Bizkit and Eminem for END OF DAYS, to country artists Lyle Lovett, Trisha Yearwood, and Vince Gill for FOR LOVE OF THE GAME. He seamlessly incorporates different musical eras into films, evident in the soundtrack of critically-acclaimed THE HURRICANE with legendary and contemporary R&B artists such as Ray Charles, Ruth Brown, to Me’Shell Ndegeocello and Boys II Men. His best-selling soundtrack albums include the triple platinum THE COMMITMENTS, and the gold VARSITY BLUES soundtrack. During THE COMMITMENTS, Roswell discovered and signed the 14 million selling artists’ The Corrs for their first publishing deal. Other hits he is associated with include Chris Isaac’s "Wicked Game" for WILD AT HEART, Clay Walker’s #1 country song "Dreamin’ With My Eyes Open" for THAT THING CALLED LOVE, BRING IT ON with B*Witched and Blaque to After 7’s "Gonna Love You Right" from the SUGAR HILL soundtrack. From attending the prestigious UCLA Film School, to working with the most successful directors today, Roswell has developed a keen understanding about his role in the filmmaking process. G. Marq Roswell explains, "I see myself as a musical advisor to the director, and I constantly work to provide the elements of music that contribute to the scope of his or her (director’s) vision."
