Stewart Copeland, the eclectic composer/performer/drummer, today announced that he will be appearing with his 19-piece 'Orchestrali' in a unique performance at the Anaheim Hilton's Pacific room at 7:45 pm on Saturday Jan 20th. Copeland is performing at his long-time drum sponsor TAMA drums (Hoshino USA) party at NAMM. Copeland has been sponsored by TAMA since his Police days.

Copeland will perform a broad variety of his compositions, including acoustic versions of some of his better-known film scores, in a Buddy Rich Big Band meets Stravinsky blend of music. The performance will feature two North American premieres of Copeland's acoustic compositions: 'Eve' and 'Grace,' as well as film-score work including various pieces from the classic scores for 'Rumble Fish' and 'The Equalizer'.

The 19 member 'Orchestrali' will be composed of LA's first-call studio musicians and conducted by orchestrator Pete Anthony.

The show is invitation only, and not open to the public. Please contact Hoshino USA's promotions director Tim Komanchak 215 499 9959 for ticket availability.
