In its final concert at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Los Angeles Masters Chorale performs works that Hollywood borrowed from the repertoire to heighten the tension, set the battlefield ablaze and make moviegoers’ hair stand on end. The program will also honor those who made their mark as serious film composers with impressive work in choral music.
