The first concert will be a performance of the classic silent film Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde starring one of the truly great actors of the silent period, John Barrymore. It will be screened in synchronization with live orchestra on stage. For the supporting item John Scott has composed a new score for another classic silent movie by Geo Méliès, Trip to the Moon. This film has the unique character of utilizing a narrator instead of dialogue boards. This will be the premier performance of this film with this score.

The second concert will feature the first movement of Vaughan-Williams' Sinfonia Antarctica composed for the epic feature film Scott of the Antarctic and symphonic suites from 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, Rocket to the Moon, Final Countdown, Greystoke - Legend of Tarzan, 2001 - A Space Odyssey, Elvira Madigan and Death in Venice. The finale will be a new symphonic suite adapted from the score for Peter Snell's and Charlton Heston's Antony and Cleopatra with live actors reciting Shakespeare's wonderful dialogue.
