The winners for the British Academy Awards have been announced, and in the category of Best Score, composer John Williams won the award for the \"Anthony Asquith Award for Achievement in Film Music\" for his score to MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA. Along with the Golden Globe award, this is positioning Williams as a very likely winner for the Academy Award for his score to that film.
