Congratulations to composer Gustavo Santaolalla for his Oscar win for Brokeback Mountain. This is his first nomination and win. Santaolalla beat out John Williams, Dario Marianelli and Alberto Iglesias.



The Oscar for Best Song was given to Jordan Houston, Cedric Coleman, and Paul Beauregard for "It\'s Hard Out Here for A Pimp" from Hustle & Flow.
