Henry Jackman scores This Is The End, the new comedy from the makers of Pineapple Express, in theaters June 12, 2013. Directed by Evan Goldberg, This Is The End stars Craig Robinson, James Franco, Seth Rogen and Danny McBride, playing themselves caught in the shenanigans occurring during the apocalypse in Los Angeles. Jackman wrote the epic music recalling the grandiose scores of Hollywood's Golden Age while imbuing them with a sense of parody and playfulness appropriate for the film. Jackman recently scored G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

In only five years, Henry Jackman has risen to the ranks as one of Hollywood's top composers with films to his credit from Kick Ass and X-Men: First Class to the animated hit Wreck-It Ralph and Dreamworks' upcoming animated film Turbo, opening July 17, 2013. The accomplished composer has scored films in virtually every genre and released his own albums. Harboring a voracious appetite for technology and pop culture, Jackman's scoring processes have incorporated classical composition, orchestral arrangement, beat programming, sound design, production and mixing.

Henry Jackman's diverse educational background complements his musical diversity that has underscored his musical creations. He undertook classical training at St. Paul's Cathedral Choir School, Eton College and Oxford University. Shortly after graduating, Jackman was invited to join Hans Zimmer's team at Remote Control Studios. His accolades include several ASCAP Film and TV Music Awards as well as a World Soundtrack Award.
